Ingredients:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional, for extra depth)
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (slurry)
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Cooked rice (for serving)
Instructions:
- Prepare the sauce: In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Cook the chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
